Obituary of Nancy Mooney

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Springfield Memorial Gardens for Nancy Mooney of Eugene, who died Sept. 7 of age-related causes. She was 89.A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.She was born Aug. 24, 1922, in High Springs, Fla., to Walter and Minnie Ryan Kelley. She married Marion Mooney on Oct. 13, 1942, in Illinois. He died Feb. 11, 1995.She graduated from Springfield High School and was a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Michael and Patrick, both of Springfield; a daughter, Leslie Mooney of Eugene; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
