Obituary of Betty Jean Overall

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Betty Jean Overall of Eugene, who died Sept. 9 of age-related causes. She was 82.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.She was born March 29, 1929, in Lawton, Okla., to Carl and Vona Chance Merrill. She married Roy Overall on Dec. 24, 1946, in Lawton. He died in 1993.She worked in the shoe department at J.C. Penney before becoming a homemaker.Survivors include three sons, Jim, Johnathan and Jeffery, all of Eugene; a daughter, Jeannie Crabtree of Eugene; a sister, Jane Fields of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
