Laura KolenJUNCTION CITY — Laura Kolen of Junction City died Sept. 11 of age-related causes. She was 97. No service is planned.She was born Oct. 19, 1913, in Toppenish, Wash., to Francis and Emma Harwood Turpin. She married Joseph Kolen on July 4, 1936 in Coos Bay. He died June 6, 2006.For many years, she worked as an office manager for several companies in the timber and trucking industry.Survivors include a son, Jerry of Eugene; and one grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
