Obituary of Dorothy Chase

Dorothy J. Chase of Eugene died Sept. 12 of age-related causes. She was 79. A private service is planned.She was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Redlands, Calif., to William and Cora Copley Laird.She graduated from Skedron Business College in San Bernardino, Calif., in 1951. She worked as a secretary.Survivors include a son, Mike Purkerson of Hermiston; a daughter, Ann Carpenter of Eugene; and six grandchildren.Inurnment will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield. Remembrances to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
