Obituary of Virginia Schubach

Virginia “Birdie” Anderson of Florence died Sept. 8 of cancer. She was 73.She was born May 26, 1938, in Spokane to George and Winifred Goodwin Dawson. She married Rudi Schubach on June 21, 1956, in Spokane. He died Nov. 14, 2010.She worked alongside her husband in many businesses.Survivors include a son, Kirk Schbach of Grass Valley, Calif.; two daughters, Karol Anderson of Vacaville, Calif., and Sandra Hutto of Creswell; a brother, Phil Dawson of Spokane; a sister, Bert Simmit of Spokane; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Private burial will be at in Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to Shriner’s Hospital.
