Obituary of Maria Da Encarnação Tavares

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Da Encarnção Tavares, on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Brampton Civic Hospital, surrounded by her children. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pedro, sister Maria José, brother Fernando and granddaughter Nancy. Lovingly remembered by her four children; Fatima, Pedro, Maria Carmen (John) and José (Margarida). Adoring grandmother to Susie, Sally, Lori, Janice, Linda, Lesley, Kevin, Kenny, Neil, Kyle, and Cody. Maria will forever remain in the hearts of her great-grandchildren Marciano, Anthony, Nolan, Amy, Danny, Tommy, Elizabeth, Juliet, Selena, Rachel, Kayla, Joshua, Nathan, Chloe, Caterina, Anthony, Sebastian, Melina, Amelia and Brayden. As well as great-great-grandchildren Selena, Lucas, and Amelia. Maria also leaves behind her sister Gilda as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends both in Canada and Portugal. Family and friends will be received from 4-8pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road (at Bovaird) 905-460-9155. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 101 Malta Ave. Brampton. Private family interment to follow. Maria's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who have sent thoughts and prayers during their time of bereavement.
