Obituary of Joao Silva

Peacefully and suddenly, passed away on Thursday, October 15th at the age of 87. Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Esmalia, and dear brother, Jose, and sister, Maria Jose and very recently, his life-long friend and brother-in-law, Eurico Correia and long-time friend, Francisco Pereira. Survived by his cherished sister, Zulmira and many nieces and nephews. Loving father of Egidia (Augie), John (Linda), and Henry (Melissa). Proud Grandfather of Michael (Barbara), Lindsay (Kristen), Taylor, Sean, Calyx (Christian), and Nelene. Great-Grandfather to Nathan, Evelyn, Sona, Quinn and Henri. Joao will be missed by his many friends and family. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Glendale Funeral home on Tuesday, October 20. Please contact the family if you wish to attend. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there is a limited capacity of 45 people for the visitation and service and 25 for the Entombment.
