Charles MarshallThe funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Charles Albert Marshall of Eugene, who died Sept. 15 of complications from pneumonia. He was 85. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.He was born July 19, 1926, in Rapid City, S.D., to Harmon and Vina Thompson Marshall.He married Rose Di Nucci on Nov. 12, 1950, in Portland. She died May 25, 2002.He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II. He worked as a sales representative in parts and service for General Electric and Frigidaire.Survivors include a daughter, Barbara McKay of Hillsboro; a son, David of Medford; a brother, Harmon of Portland; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.Remembrances to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
