Obituary of Lloyd Rupert James
Lloyd Rupert James was born on July 19, 1943. As we ponder on the precious life of Lloyd, each of us cherishes something special from the kind of person he was. He had a natural love for people. He lived a full life that had an indelible impact on many lives.Lloyd immigrated from Jamaica to London, England and then from London to Canada, where he spent the rest of his life working as a carpenter. The book of Lloyd’s life came to a close on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. He is survived by children Sandrise, Caroline, and Sherwin (Erica); step-children Winston (Dee), Barbara (Collie), and Paul (Jacqueline); grandchildren Candice, Daniella, Cory, Christopher, Nathaniel, Ezra and Solomon; great-grandchildren Aiyana, Christian and Jacob; as well as family members in Canada, Jamaica, United States, and United Kingdom.Although Lloyd is deeply missed by many, he will be forgotten by none.In light of the recent COVID-19 social distancing regulations, this visitation and service will be restricted to 50 people at a time. If you plan to come for visitation, wearing a mask is mandatory in our building. We also ask that you pay your condolences, greet the family and then please allow for others to enter the building.
