Obituary of Ronald Fournier

George James Ronald Fournier (Ron), of Oakville, Ontario, passed away peacefully October 13th at the age of 89.He was born in Perth, Ontario on October 8, 1931, son of the late Hebert James and Sadie Elizabeth (nee Kirkham) Fournier. He is survived by four of his children, Allan, Douglas (Kelly), Kevin (Laura Jayne) and Shelley (Paul). His other son Paul, having passed away earlier this year. He was a proud Grandfather to Jason, Keegan, Alex, Zach, Nicholas, Jordan, Matthew, Meghan, Emily, Jacob, Katherine and Great Grandfather to Zoey.He had a very distinguished career of over 40 years with the Bank of Nova Scotia. It is where he met his beloved wife Patricia (nee MacIsaac) previously deceased. They loved to do many things together and could often be seen at the Madawaska Golf Club in their later years. He will be greatly missed by family and the many friends they made throughout the years.Due to Covid, a private family service will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville, Ontario. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario are greatly appreciated.As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario the attendance at the funeral and cemetery is restricted to 30% capacity or less and a record of attendance must be maintained.Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory during their time in the funeral home or cemetery.
