Obituary of Laverne Moore

Laverne Moore, age 58, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2020. She was born to parents Joy Simon-Walker and the late Wittet Moore, Jul. 17, 1962 in San Fernando, Trinidad & Tobago. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria. She is also survived by her sisters Liana, Lystra and Catherine, her brothers, Wallace, Philip and Ashlee, and her many nieces and nephews. Laverne was a force to be reckoned with. It would be wrong to say that Laverne lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. Laverne stayed strong, and through her, we know what true resilience and perseverance look like. Laverne will be remembered for her vivacious personality and her ability to make everyone around her chuckle. She made friends everywhere she went and will be deeply missed by all. Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.
