Obituary of Jackie Healey

A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 25 at Hinman Vineyards/Silvan Ridge Winery in Eugene for Jackie Healey of Springfield, who died Aug. 29 at age 71. The family chose not to list the cause of death.She was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Chicago, to Clarence and Geraldine Holmberg Akerman. She married Bill Healey on June 1, 1957, in Chicago. He died Jan. 26, 2002.She graduated from Chicago Vocational High School. She worked for Kodak in Chicago and helped her husband start National Photocopy in 1972. She worked there as secretary and treasurer until early 2011.Survivors include two sons, James of Springfield and Dan of Eugene; two daughter, Kathi Murphy of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Kelli Flanagan of Springfield; three sisters, Jeanne Akerman of Terre Haute, Ind., Geri Blocker of New Lenox, Ill., and Kathy Bailey of Lake George, Minn.; three brothers, Kenny Akerman of Lake George, Minn., Hoagy Akerman of Creal Springs, Ill., and Mike Akerman of Milaca, Minn.; and six grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
