Obituary of Ines Frittaion

Ines Frittaion (nee Bertazzo) was born on October 20, 1927 in Rivignano, Udine, Italy. After having said goodbye to her family and commenting with her characteristic “What can you do?” she passed October 2, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The love Ines had of family, cooking, sewing, reading, and hockey was evident to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Ines was predeceased by her beloved husband Gino (2000), sister-in-law Josephine Demanins (2011), and niece Theresa Cook (2018). She was a loving mother to her two sons, Franco (Sheila) and Robert (Rose); a cherished Nonna to her five grandchildren, Elissa (Rick), Cristiana (Geordo), Ryan (Denise), Alyssa (Matt), and Jason (Melissa); and a proud Bisnonna to her four great-grandchildren, Findlay, Eleanor, Chelsea and Zoey. She will be fondly remembered by her nephew Rick Demanins (Susan), and great-nephew Brian Cook. Ines will be dearly missed by her siblings, nieces and nephews in Italy. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society.Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the visitation and funeral service will be private.
