Obituary of Teresa Varacalli

Teresa Varacalli (nee Polifroni) Born January 14, 1950 in Cimina Reggio Calabria, Italy.We sadly announce the passing of Teresa Varacalli (nee Polifroni) on Thursday, October 1st 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Rosario Varacalli for 51 years and loving mother of Maria (Vincenzo Panetta), Pina (John Vandersleen), Michael, Rosa and Fiorina (Stephan St-Louis) loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren Stella, Carmelo, Teresa, Valentina, Natalina, Noah, Breana, Leyla, Danika, Summer, Jamie, Luciano, Jade, Warrant and Veronic. Teresa leaves behind sister-in-laws Fiorina Fudoli Rosa and Carmela Varacalli. She will be fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Teresa was proud of being a homemaker, and known for her love for cooking and being surrounded by her grandchildren whom she raised and enjoyed. She loved to have the home filled with family and friends to sit at the dinner table to share great food and memories. Teresa will be missed by her family and friends. A special Thank you to Bayshore Home Health Care and to Dr. Shamim Taherzadeh for being so compassionate and caring to our beloved mother, grandmother and wife during her final days.
