Milja was born in Bosna Hercevgovina, Jugoslavija in 1936. Her family was relocated after World War II to the village Novi Kozarci in Vojvodina, an autonomous province, in the former Yugoslavia. She is the last of three siblings. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in cooking school in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and became a chef. A profession she mastered and held until she retired. Food would become a key ingredient in the way she gave of herself to others. In 1959 she met her future husband, Zivomir Zika Radojevic, at a concert in Belgrade when he asked to borrow her newspaper. Six months later they were married. Music would play a major role in their relationship and 60-year marriage.Snezana Susan Radojevic, her first child and daughter, was born a year later. Work would take her family to Frankfurt, West Germany in the early 1960s. She often said the 2-years she spent in Frankfurt and the friends she made was one of the best times of her life.In 1967, with her husband and daughter she immigrated to Toronto, Canada. Two years later her second child and son, Rajko Ray Radojevic, was born. From the moment she knew she was pregnant she knew it would be a son.Milja often said, her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life. And there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. She was a devoted wife, a caring grandmother and mother-in-law and a loving mother to moja Sneza and moj sin, the way she referred to her children. She is survived by her husband Zika (her stari); her daughter Sneza (Susan); her son Rajko (Ray).
