Obituary of Rocco Zambri

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rocco at the age of 85. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Rocco’s passion for life was honed from a young age, growing up in the small village of Monteleone, Italy. He overcame the humble beginnings by becoming a well-respected and successful businessman. The latter helped shape today’s banquet hall industry. Rocco will now continue his legacy in heaven as the preferred Chef to the angels.He leaves behind his beloved partner, Grace, daughters, Cindy (Ben), Susan (Joe) and grandchildren, Christian (Ashley), Amanda, Nicholas and Kaitlin. Will be sadly missed by his sisters, Corina and Lora, his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his spouse, Grazia, son, Tony (Terry Lynn) and sister, Giovanna. Visitation will be held at the Highland Funeral Home, Markham, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Please call the funeral home to register for visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish, Markham, on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PURSUANT TO MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE REGULATIONS, PLEASE PRE-REGISTER YOUR ATTENDANCE FOR THE VISITATION AND/OR THE FUNERAL MASS. Entry will be strictly limited to registered visitors only. Attendees will be required to wear face masks and asked to respect and practice social distancing.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children.
