Markoff, John - It is with heavy hearts the family announces thepassing of John on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 at PeterboroughRegional Health Center, in his 93rd year. Loving husband ofBetty (predeceased) for 64 years. A devoted father, he is survived by his children, Rick (Georgia), Susan (Brian Maybury), Gary (Cathey), Jim (Diane) and Beth (Tim Semeniuk).Proud grandfather of Shelley, Danny (deceased), Pam, Beth, Jonathan, David, Kristin andCarrina. Cherished great- grandfather of Madison, Emily, Arianna,Samuel, Benjamin and Madison. Predeceased by his daughter Janet (Carney Scott) and brothers Mark, Joseph and Alec.Visitation to be held at the ‘Scarborough Chapel’ of McDougalland Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (1 block east of St. Clair Ave. E.) onThursday, October 1st 2020 2-3 pm, 4-5 pm and 6-7 pm. A funeral service is to beheld in the chapel on Friday October 2nd, at 1 PM.
