Obituary of Giuseppe Marcello

With broken hearts and such sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Giuseppe Marcello on Saturday, September 26th, 2020. Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and loyal friend to many who knew and loved him. Predeceased by his father Giorgio, his mother Rosa and his brother Francesco, Giuseppe leaves behind his doting wife Anna, his daughter Rosa and husband Joseph, his daughter Teresa and husband Nicholas, along with his devoted granddaughter Sierra. He will be greatly missed by his sister Teresa and husband Salvatore, his brother Raffaele and wife Maria, his brother in law Giuseppe and wife Angela, his brother in law Onofrio and wife Maria, hisbrother in law Domenico and wife Mafalda, and all his many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will also be missed by his extended family in Italy and Argentina.Giuseppe was born in Sant'Onofrio, Catanzaro in Calabria, Italy. Upon getting married, he and his wife Anna left Italy and his entire family and immigrated to Toronto, Canada. He always had such an undeniable connection and appreciation for his native Italy and his family there, and held onto them with great pride. He was a hard worker and master bricklayer, avid card player, enthusiastic car race fan and soccer fanatic, and an all around honorable and respected family man.In memory of Giuseppe, donations can be made to The Canadian Lung Association, and/or any monetary donations to the family will be directly given to local food banks. Due to restrictions for public gatherings, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held, by invitation only.
