Obituary of Farid Hassan

The funeral was held Sept. 27 at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Farid M. “Fred” Hassan of Eugene, who died Sept. 27 of cardiovascular disease. He was 75.He was born Aug. 7, 1936, in Palestine. He and his wife, Fatima, were married in 1976.He attended Montana State University for three years. He worked as a teacher in Lebanon, as an insurance broker and in the real estate and restaurant businesses.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ramzy and Faris, both of Eugene; and a daughter, Mona Hassan of Eugene.
