Obituary of Robert Harrington

A graveside service will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Robert Wesley Harrington of Veneta, who died Sept. 19 of heart failure. He was 80.He was born May 16, 1931, in Noti to Ben and Dolley Moore Harrington. He married Claudie Blake on Aug. 27, 1954, in Cottage Grove.He attended Elmira High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked as a logger for International Paper for 45 years.Survivors include his wife; five sons, Leonard and Danny, both of Veneta, Wesley of Ontario, Duane of Eugene and Sidney of Cottage Grove; two sisters, Edith Haynes and Ordella Curin, both of Elmira; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. An infant son died in 1962.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
