Obituary of John Holland

John Danial Holland of Creswell died Sept. 27 of cancer. He was 65. A private service is planned.He was born Oct. 10, 1945, in Junction City to Charles and Olga Paulus Holland.He graduated from Willamette High School in 1964.He was a millworker for 20 years, then worked as a custodian at Lane Community College for more than 20 years, retiring in 2003.Survivors include two daughters, Penny Holland of Springfield and Mary Brooks of Eugene; a son, John of Springfield; a sister, Effie Roberts of Tigard; a brother, Charlie of Eugene; and six grandchildren.A son, Jimmy Holland, died Feb. 10, 1999.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
