Obituary of Frank Hayzlett

Frank HayzlettA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Coburg United Methodist Church for Frank L. Hayzlett of Eugene, who died Oct. 1 of a heart attack. He was 77.He was born June 17, 1934, in Portland to William and Morietta Cross Hayzlett. He married Joanne Jarnagin on Aug. 18, 1962, in Coburg.He attended high school in The Dalles. He served in the U.S. Navy and was stational on the USS DeHaven during the Korean War. He retired as branch manager after 23 years with Western Beverage and McDonald Wholesale.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael of Coburg and Kirk of Eugene; a daughter, Carrie Jo Lanz of San Ramon, Calif.; two brothers, Wes and Win, both of Portland; a sister, Laurene Sallee of The Dalles; and two grandchildren.Private family burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Coburg.
