Obituary of Simone Fiorenze
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Simone Fiorenze on August 25, 2020 at the age of 87. Simone will be remembered for his love of life, demonstrated through his generous and warm spirit. To no end, he found fulfillment in helping others unconditionally. He was a cherished and loving husband to Mafalda (Presutti), and devoted father to his three daughters, Miria (Ricky Visentin), Antonella (Antonio Bianconi), and Anna-Gemma (Teodoro Oliviero). He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Olivia (Stephen Toner), Isabella (Ivan Stanisic), Giacomo, Elisabeth, Jessica, and Sarah, and great-grandchild Annabelle. Simone is predeceased by his siblings Adelina (Giovanni), Guido (Ricarda), Armando (Maria), Alberto (Giovanna), and he was a dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews in both Ottawa and Italy. He will always be our hero. We find great comfort in knowing that he is bowling, riding his bicycle, gardening, and eating lots of pasta in heaven.
