Obituary of Beatrice Fola Ojo

Ms. Beatrice Fola Ojo It is with a heavy heart but gratitude to God for an accomplished life, we mourn the passing of our beloved Mother, Sister, Aunty, Mentor and Friend Beatrice Fola Ojo, (Mama Yomi, Sisi Betty) at the age of 70. On Saturday, August 9th, 2020, she gained her wings and went back home to be with God. She attended St Theresa College in Ibadan Nigeria and University of Ottawa in Canada. Beatrice was retired and enjoyed participating in community programs in her area. Beatrice is survived by her son, brothers, sisters, cousins nephews and nieces. Visitation and Services will be held at Scott Funeral Home – West Toronto Chapel (1273 Weston Road, Toronto, Ont.) on Saturday, September 5, 2020 and the burial will follow at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Road Brampton, Ont.). Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the funeral home must ensure all visitor's safety and well being. We require that you please contact the family if you wish to attend the visitation and services at our location. Memorial donations may be made in Beatrice Ojo name to The Canadian Cancer Society, Caribbean African Canadian Social Services and The Kidney Foundation.
