Obituary of Deolinda Branco Pinto

It is with great sadness that we announce that Deolinda Pinto passed peacefully on Monday afternoon, August 24, 2020 at Northridge Long Term Care Home in Oakville, ON in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Manuel Antonio Pinto of 66 years. Loving mother of Maria De Fatima Duarte (late Vasco) and Jose Pinto (Leda). Cherished grandmother (Vavo) of 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Maria Adelaide Corderio. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family and friends here and abroad. Anyone having the pleasure of meeting Deolinda, in person would remember her always by her vibrant personality and beautiful smile, leaving an imprint on your heart. She will be deeply missed by all.A heartfelt thank you to the team at Northridge Long Term Care Home (Mill House) for their exceptional care over the last two years. Please consider a donation in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, an indoor chapel service will be held for immediate family only. (By invitation) All other guests are invited to view the service by live stream on your own devices outside the Funeral home and then join the procession to Deolinda’s final resting place for the burial service.
