Obituary of Mike Traficante

Mike passed away on August 24, 2020 at the Credit Valley Hospital in his 69th year, surrounded by his family. Mike will be missed by his beloved wife of over 43 years, Enza. He will also be deeply missed by his two children, Daniela (Michael) and Vanessa and his grandchildren Matteo and Gia. Mike also leaves behind his parents Lucia and Biagio, and his siblings Pina, Tonino, Donato, as well as his in-laws Santina, Joe (Isabella) and Ciro(Nancy). Mike will be fondly remembered as the greatest Father, Nonno, Zio and Husband who would do anything for his family. He will be remembered by everyone for his gift of cooking which was delivered by him as a gift of love to everyone he knew.Mike’s family would like to give special thanks to the ICU and Palliative care unit at the Credit Valley Hospital where he received exceptional care from Nurses and Doctors. Especially Dr. Harild from Palliative Care and Nurse Cory for making his last few nights as comfortable as possible.As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario the attendance at the visitation, funeral and cemetery is restricted to 30% capacity or less and a record of attendance must be maintained.Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory during their time in the funeral home or cemetery.Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a service will be held for invited guests only.Please take a moment to sign the online guestbook to share your condolences with the family.
