Obituary of Francesco Michelini

On August 21, 2020 we all lost a very good man. Francesco Michelini passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital surrounded by family. He was a dedicated and devoted husband to Maria and a loving father to John, Pat & Tony. To Charlene, Nelson & Agnese he was the best father-in-law, a greatly loved Nonno to Adam, Alex, Mark, David, Frank & Gianluca and a special brother to Anna Zezza in Winnipeg. His brothers and sisters in law, his nieces and nephews (and grand nieces and nephews) all adored him intensely. Frank spent a good portion of his life as a maintenance mechanic; he could fix anything. To anyone he knew, he was always available with a screwdriver, hammer, skill saw or any others of the myriad of tools and equipment in his own, home made machine shop. If he didn’t have the tool to help, you still got him and having Frank there to fix things meant things got fixed! He loved his family & friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, picnicking, playing bocci and spending time at his cottage in Wasaga Beach (especially that certain corner…) There was always a beer, a glass of wine, a drop (or two) of cognac and a coffee available with Frank!
