The earth has lost a man who embodied the Father’s heart. Our patriarch and Godly mentor, protector and covering. He fought hard and boldly declared his strong commitment to God through his fierce love, his actions, and his words. His deep faith was never just his own but a legacy that he established in his marriage, his home and children, and in his children’s children.Alexander William Melnichuk went to be with his Lord and Saviour peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 in his 93rd year surrounded by his dear wife, Nettie, whom he lovingly called his ‘Duchess’, as well as his three children. Loving husband of Nettie and proud father of Beverley(David), Robert(Cindy) and Brenda. He was the proud Gigi to Jeremy(Katie), Joel(Ramona), Jamie(Andrea), Lindsey(Dave), Cherise(Mario), Rachelle(Dylan), Matthew(Beth), Liana(Steven), Michael(Emily), Mark(Nicole), and Morgan, and proud Great Gigi to Kaden, Logan, Mya, Landon, Cali, Lincoln, Colton, Olivia, Emily, Weston, Isaac, Cahlin, Ava, Aurora, Charlie, Mila.Monday, August 24th:6-8pm Open Visitation atWELLSPRING CHURCH,4457 New St., Burlington ONTuesday, August 25th:11am-12:30pm Open Visitation atChurch on the Queensway1536 The Queensway, Etobicoke ON Immediately following the Visitation we will have a Celebration of Life service, all are welcome.
