Claire was born in New York, NY on June 15, 1928 and is now an angel in heaven as of August 18, 2020. She will be greatly missed by her son Don Keating, her sisters Yvette Charlebois, Suzanne Veilleux, Lise Snedden and brother Andre (Elaine) Cloutier, and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Monique (John), Pierre (Carolyn), Jean, Diane (Chris), Louise, Michelle (Bob), Chantale (Brad), Bobby (Lorraine), Diane (Alex) and by many extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband George and loving mother to her son Jimmy Keating.Working years in the Government were in Dept. of Transport and CIDA (Speakers Bureau). Avon products and orders took over much of her house sometimes! We will always remember how she loved to sing. She did indeed have the voice of an angel especially after a cocktail or two and she loved to party and travel. Her golden retriever Tammy waits for Mom in heaven. In her last months on this earth, Claire was in a gentle, compassionate place and was cared by the most wonderful staff at La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie in Gatineau, Que. She was treated with love and dignity! Also, big hugs from heaven to Carolyn for her love and devotion. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Parkinson's Society of Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society and to La Fondation Mathieu-Froment-Savoie.
