Obituary of Gord Stephens
A Chapel Service will be held, by invitation, on Sunday August 30th, at 1:30 p.m. at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Gordon Stephens announce his passing on Sunday August 16th, 2020, at the age of 80. Most well known as “Gord”, was born in Brampton, Ontario on October 6th, 1939. Gord will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 57 years, Margaret, and his children Andrew (Sheila), Allan (predeceased) and Barbara (Eric). Gord’s memory will be treasured by his five grandchildren, Shelby, Austin, Samantha, Mateo and Carina and his sister, Jean. Gord was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Don. Gord will also be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.A Chapel Service will be held, by invitation, on Sunday August 30th, at 2:30 p.m. at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville.
