Obituary of Aniceta Aquino Mananquil
It is with deep sadness that the family of Aniceta Aquino Mananquil, lovingly remembered as ‘Necie’, wants to make known her sudden passing on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the young age of 73, born on April 17, 1947.Only one word can truly describe Necie - Beautiful. Beautiful not only physically, but as the precious daughter of her predeceased parents Remegio and Praxedes Aquino, loving wife to Romeo Mananquil, who also truly adores her, most caring mother of Roani, Jordan, Anicee, Herson and Maila, exceptional grandmother to fifteen adorable grandchildren and cherished sister to Amy, Raymond, Ferlie, Rose, and Gemma. Furthermore, she will be remembered by her selfless, caring nature, warmth and sweet demeanour. As a teacher for many years, she imparted her love and wisdom not only to young kids but through her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Necie lived a life practicing exceptional faith each day showing God’s love through her actions and words. Her extremely prayerful nature raised a Christ-centred household....truly Beautiful in every aspect of the word.Viewing services will be held on Sunday, August 23 at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home on 3164 Ninth Line (403 & Dundas St.), Oakville, ON. (Due to the current circumstances, times and visitations are arranged and limited). A Mass will be held on Monday, at 10 am, August 24, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 5650 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, ON., to be followed by the burial at Glenn Oaks Funeral and Cemetery.As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario the attendance at the funeral and cemetery is restricted to 30% capacity or less and a record of attendance must be maintained.Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory during their time in the funeral home or cemetery.Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a Service will be held for invited guests only.At this time we ask that you kindly join our family via live stream by clicking on the following link on Monday, August 24th, 2020 at 9:55 a.m. Please follow the link below to view the live stream.Password: Arbor1http://www.distantlink.com/dlm77.htmlCondolences can be offered through the online guestbook.
