Obituary of Vartanoush Baghdasarian-Namakerdy

Our beloved Vartoush Baghdasarian passed away on August 13th, 2020 at Milton District Hospital. She fought strongly to the end and had her loved ones by her side. Loving wife to David Aghazarian for 53 years, mother to Shakeh Aghazarian, mother-in-law to Aramik Moosakhanian, grandmother to Meghri Moosakhanian, and sister to six wonderful women: Eliz, Ofik, Zoya, Lusik, Arax and Janet Baghdasarian.Though Vartoush had a heart condition almost all her life, she never let it stop her from anything. She was an amazing sewer, sewing beautiful dresses for herself, her daughter and granddaughter. She loved cooking, making delicious meals and snacks for her family and guests. Her constant strength and positivity lit up the room; her family strives to live with her values everyday. She was a creative, smart, kind, and generous soul. Loved by so many, she was truly an amazing woman. She shared a special bond with her daughter Shakeh who she would do anything for and she was loved so deeply by her granddaughter who grew up by her side, sharing stories and laughter together. She supported the Armenian community by contributing to various charity organizations including the Armenian Relief Society Mississauga chapter in her later years. We will always remember her and cherish our memories with her. May she Rest In Peace.
