Obituary of Bakhshish Singh Cheema

It is with great sadness that the family of Bakhshish Singh Cheema announce his peaceful passing on August 13th 2020 at the age of 91.Bakhshish Singh Cheema was born October 15th, 1928 in Chak 39-14 L, Montgomery. Through the partition of India and Pakistan, Bakhshish Singh and his family left in 1947 although he always recalled and remembered the memories of his birth place fondly. He married Jagdish Kaur Cheema and raised their three sons and three daughters in Punjab. On April 13th, 1981 they immigrated to Canada to embark on a new journey.His quick wit, sense of humour and striking personality will be remembered by all those who knew him, and his influence and memory will live on through his family for years to come. His strength and resolve were unmatched and he was a great support for his family and many others.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 children, and 4 siblings.
