Apolonia SasalovaFebruary 9th 1953 - August 12 2020Apolonia Sasalova passed away peacefully surrounded by her 3 daughters Andrea, Lucia, Michaela and her very much loved husband of 48 years Jozef on August 12 2020. She was born in a beautiful mountain range in eastern Slovakia. Growing up in the mountains she developed her love towards the nature. She was a very special woman full of life, love and modesty. Her simplicity, yet uniqueness made her extraordinary in each way. Apolonia lived for her children and grandchildren. She lightened every room like a star lights the sky every night. Her softness was calming like a stream running through woodland. Her strength and will to live was like an echo you hear at the top of the mountain. Her beauty resembled a field full of flowers. Our mom fought to the last seconds of her life with this cruel terminal sickness and she showed us to “live each day as our life had just begun”.Apolonia will be truly missed each and every day by her beloved husband Jozef, three daughters Andrea, Lucia, Michaela. Andreas husband Steve, Michaela’s husband Riaan and Lucy’s partner Bryan. She will always be in the hearts of her four grandsons she always cherished and loved so unconditionally Christopher, Sebastian, Benjamin and Matthew and outlived by the only remaining sibling Maria Jacova. There are many empty hearts lefts after passing of our amazing Mom, grand Mom, sister, wife, god parent, aunt and friend from other extended family and friends. You will be missed deeply.Apolonia Sasalova zomrela pokojne v kruhu svojej rodiny obkopena svojimi troma dcerami Andreou, Luciou, Michaelou a milujucim manzelom Jozefom dna 12 Augusta 2020. Narodila sa v prekrasnej hornatej oblasti na vychode Slovenska. Vyrastanim v horach si vybudovala svoju velkolepu lasku k prirode. Bola velmi specialnou zenou plnou zivota, lasky a skromnosti. Jej jednoduchost ale zaroven jedinecnost ju robili perfektnou v kazdom smere. Apolonia zila pre svoje deti a vnucata. Rozsvietila kazdu miestnost ako hviezdy rozsvietia oblohu kazdu noc. Jej jemnost bola upokojujuca ako potocik ktory preteka zalesim. Jej sila a obrovska chut do zivota pripominala eko ktore pocut na vrchole hor. Jej krasa sa ponasala na pole plne kvetou. Nasa mama bojovala do poslednych sekund jej zivota s krutou terminalnou chorobou a ukazala nam ze mame “zit kazdy den nasich zivotou akoby sa nas zivot len zacal” Apolonia bude neskutocne chybat kazdym dnom svojmu manzelovi Jozefovi, trom dceram Andreii, Lucii a Michaeli. Andreinmu manzelovi Stevovi, Michaelinmu manzelovi Riaanovi a Luciinmu partnerovy Bryanovi. Stale ostane v srdieckach jej styroch lasok zivota, styroch vnucikoch ktorych tak velmi lubila Christopherovi, Sebastianovi, Benjaminovi a Matthew a jedinej pozostalej sestricke Marii Jacovej. Ostalo vela prazdych srdc na tomto svete po strate takejto uzastnej mamky, babicky, sestry, manzelky, krstej mamy, tety a kamaratky. The ashes of our mom will be put to rest and last goodbyes will be said few days later. Unfortunately due to COVID 19 restrictions both will be attended just by family only.
