Obituary of Evelyn Huffman

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Evelyn Ruth Gillett Huffman of Eugene, who died Oct. 6 of age-related causes. She was 82.She was born March 11, 1929, in Coyle, Okla., to John and Armina Bales Bartram.A high school graduate, she worked as an administrative trainer for Bi-Mart.Survivors include two sons, Rodney Gillett and Curtis Gillett, both of Eugene; a daughter, Rodenia Dietz of Salem; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Christina Dawn Gillett, died in 1975 and her husband, Rodney Gillett, died previously.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Remembrances to Meals on Wheels.
