Obituary of Ludlow Hardware
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Ludlow O’Brien Hardware (also known as Hopeton to his friends) on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at SunnyBrook Health Sciences Centre. He was born to parents Doris May Robertson and Arthur Victor Hardware on November 25, 1944 in Kingston, Jamaica. He is survived by his children, Yvonne, Sandra and Ralston and his grandchildren Alyssa and Myles. Dads are someone to look up to, someone to follow, someone to admire, someone to be proud of and we are incredibly grateful to have had a Dad who was hardworking, strong, generous and kind who loved his family and was deeply devoted to us. His love was unconditional and his kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ludlow (Hopeton) will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.Viewing/Visitation will be held at the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road (at Bovaird) 905-460-9155 on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 2-5 p.m. The Funeral is INVITE ONLY and will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery. In light of the recent COVID-19 social distancing regulations, this visitation/viewing will be restricted to 50 family members and friends at a time. If you plan to come for visitation, wearing a mask is mandatory in our building. We also ask that you pay your condolences, greet the family and then please allow for others to enter the building. We apologize for any inconvenience but ask that you keep Ludlow in your thoughts and prayers.
