Mary CoughenourMary Ellen Coughenour of Eugene died Oct. 11 of age-related causes. She was 88. No service is planned.She was born March 31, 1923, in Anson, Texas, to Arthur and Leah Johnson Anderson. She married Charles Coughenour in 1944. They later divorced.She attended Pasadena City College. She worked as a clerk at Pacific Telephone for 30 years.Survivors include two daughters, Catharine Davis of Eugene and Susan Matthys of Atlanta; and three grandchildren. A son, Gerald Coughenour, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
