Obituary of Magdalena De Mello

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Magdalena (Maggie) De Mello announces her sudden passing on Monday, August 3, 2020, at the age of 79. Born in Goa, India, Maggie was the devoted wife of the late Remy De Mello and loving mother of Evon (Everard), Evet (Carlton), Evelin (Keith), and Elizabeth (Rick). Proud grandmother of Kevin, Katelin, and Isabelle, cherished sister of Lino (late), Pipi, William (late), Annie, Maria, Philo, and Jacinto, and dear aunt to several nephews and nieces. Maggie will be greatly missed by a large extended family and group of friends.Maggie enjoyed spending time surrounded by loved ones, sharing a meal, visiting the casino, and playing bingo. She was a woman that had integrity, bravery, and put God first in her life. She will be remembered as the backbone of our family – a loving, courageous, strong woman, with an ever-positive outlook, unwavering faith, and a heart of gold.Online condolences can be offered through the guestbook (next tab).A Rosary will be livestreamed on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 10 am EDT.A Catholic Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11 am EDT.
