Obituary of Adalbert Herman
Herman, AdalbertBela loved most of all, spending time with family and friends, and his profession. He would often entertain around the dinner table with stories from work, with his witty humor. Bela was a loving and proud grandfather to his two grandchildren. Whether it was soccer practice, air cadets, school, church or camp, grandpa could always be counted on for a lift, a smile and good company with his high-spirited personality. His favorite charitable activity was to donate his time to the First Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Toronto, where he also served on the governing body. Bela was a truly selfless man, offering so much of his time and energy to those around him. In retirement his favorite activity was helping out others. He was a skilled handyman who could fix most anything, and was constantly on the go between his family, friends, acquaintances, the church, and the Benevolent Society's camp at Pine Springs on Lake Kushog - always ready to lend a helping hand. He was at his happiest when he could head out the door, tools loaded in the van, to see a friend or family member for the next project. He will surely be missed by many.
