Georgia MihasIt is with tremendous sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Georgia Mihas on August 1 2020, at the age of 64, surrounded by her family who she adored and fought for during her 12 year battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Frank Mihas, dearest mother of Roula (Jorge), Chrystine (Philip) and Jimmy. Proud grandmother to Ava, Angelina, Luca and Sofia. An inspiring, beautiful human being to all that she graced. May her memory be eternal.God saw her getting tiredWhen a cure was not to be,So He closed His arms around her,And whispered “come to me.”Her golden heart stopped beating, Her gentle hand at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us,He only takes the best.In tears we saw her struggling, We watched her fade away,Our hearts were almost broken,Because she fought so hard to stay,But when we saw her sleeping,Peacefully and free from pain,We could not wish her backto suffer that again.So keep your arms around her Lord, and give her special care, make up for all she suffered that seemed to us unfair.So many times we’ll need her,so many times we’ll cry.If love could have saved her Lord, She never would have died.For visitation and funeral information you may contact Jimmy Mihas - 416-899-9381
