Obituary of Burt Eaton

Burt EatonA memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at Central Presbyterian Church in Eugene for Burt E. Eaton of Eugene, who died Oct. 19 of heart failure. He was 89.He was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Rochester, Minn., to Burt and Leota Kirlin Eaton. He married Katherine Girton on Oct. 18, 1947, in St. Paul, Minn.He served in the U.S. Maritime Service from 1942 to 1944 and in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He was a veteran of World War II.He is survived by his wife; two sons, John of Monroe and David of Lake Oswego; a daughter, Marilee Warkentin of Springfield; a sister, SoAnne Ruby of Salem; and seven grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
