Obituary of Thelma Hanson

Thelma Juanita Jewell Hanson of Springfield died Oct. 23 of complications from cancer. She was 78.No service is planned.She was born Sept. 7, 1933, in Bagwell, Texas, to Dan and Evelyn Jackson Miller. She married Keith Hanson on June 2, 1958, in Reno, Nev.She graduated from Greenville High School in Texas in 1950. She worked as a telephone operator with Pacific Northwest Bell for seven years.Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry of Junction City; a daughter, Sheri Rhodes of Eugene; and three grandchildren.Private inurnment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.
