Obituary of Nicasio Giovenco

It is with very heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Nicasio (Nick) Giovenco on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at his residence in Brampton at the age of 83. After a brave battle with cancer (multiple myeloma), he passed away very peacefully at home surrounded by his Doctor, loving family, Tony (son), Vita (daughter in law), Josie (daughter), and Tim (son in law). Also, he had the love of his grandchildren present, Elisa, Victoria, Stephanie, and Vianna, with many thoughts of love and compassion from Caleb (in Montreal).Due to health concerns, a private visitation will be held at the Glendale Funeral Home.However, all are welcome to attend a public Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, 2490 Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton.Private entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff at the Palliative Care Unit at William Osler for all their care and compassion.If desired, donations to the William Osler Health System Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. https://oslerfoundation.org/Home
