Obituary of C. Scott Brewster

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles (Scott) Brewster announces his passing on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Scott passed peacefully in the presence of his beloved wife Cheryl at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Dear father of Michael (Christine) and Jeff (Elaine), loving and proud grandfather of Sam, Maggie, James, Max, Eddie and Stevie. Scott is also survived by his loving brother Peter (Barb). Throughout his life Scott had a passion for curling and golf. He was a long-time member of the Cedarhill Golf Course, lifetime member of the Navy Curling Club, and member of the Manotick Curling Club. Due the current COVID-19 environment the funeral will be a private function. Our sincerest thank you to our many friends who have offered their compassion and support during this most difficult time for our family. We also wish to thank the staff of CCU and H3 at the Heart Institute for their kindness and professionalism while caring for Scott.In lieu of flowers, Scott would have appreciated a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society (see link below) or a charity of your choosing.
