Obituary of Mario Renda

Mario Renda passed away peacefully in his home on July 14th, 2020 surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and siblings at the age of 87. Mario was born on February 16th, 1933 to Leonardo and Caterina Renda in Vita, Province of Trapani, Italy. Mario is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maria. His daughters, Caterina (Mario), Antonella (Nunzio) and Dina (Angelo). His grandchildren John (Kim), Mario (Adele), Francesco, Gino, Kasandra, Vanessa and Michael as well as his great granddaughter Alessia. He will be deeply missed by his many siblings, nieces and nephews as well as extended family and many friends.A special thank you goes out to his care team especially Dr. Marcus, Nurse Hope and his personal support worker Tiffany. He lives on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren.Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated. PLEASE NOTE: The family welcomes all guests, but they must be wearing a mask when entering the funeral home. The funeral home has a 30% capacity for each family visitation therefore there may be a waiting period to enter if we reach capacity. Guests will also be screened and registered at the main entrance before entering the visitation suite.
