Lucille Kant (née Lapensée)01-17-1944 to 07-11-2020Loving wife, sister, mother, grand-mother and great grand-mother passed quietly in her home in Kanata, on July 11, 2020. Loving daughter of the late Jean Robert Lapensée and Evelyne Marie Clermont, Sister to Johnny Lapensée (deceased), Joanne Bettencourt (deceased), Nicole Lapensée (deceased), she will be greatly missed by her brother and sister-in-law Marcel and Patsy Lapensée. She leaves behind her husband Roger Boucher;Her children: Richard Lapensée (Marcel Toussignant), Kristine Marte (Nino Marte) and Karyn Kant (Steeve Richard); Her step-children: Martin Boucher, Danielle Boucher, Rémi Boucher and Isabelle Boucher (Bruce MacPhee); Her grand-children: Carmela Marte (Alex Zimin), Lea Marte (Nicolas Forget), Lucas Marte, Madison Turpin (Kiefer Delorme), Hannah Richard, Sophie Richard and Steven MacPhee;As well as her great grand-child Léonel Forget.Those who so desire may make memorial donations to the Kanata Food Cupboard (Kanata Food Cupboard, PO Box 24011 Kanata, ON K2M 2C3) or the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation (3045 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario K2H 8P4) or simply do as she would do, an act of kindness for others in her honour. Lucille's family would like to thank the team of healthcare providers that took such good care of Lucille. Due to these uncertain times, a private funeral service and reception will be held at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa (613) 692-1211.
