Obituary of Jeffrey Siemens

Jeffrey Wayne (Jeff) Siemens], 59, of Etobicoke, Ontario, passed away on June 9, 2020 peacefully in his home with family by his side.Jeff was born in St. Catharines, Ontario to Harold and Marlis (Schmor) Siemens on November 15, 1960. He went to high school at L’Amoreaux C.I. and graduated in 1978. Pursuing his passion for music and in particular the music business, Jeff started his career in the entertainment business working in the then new video (VHS/Beta) wholesale distribution industry as an Account Executive. Jeff then transitioned to his dream role of Account Executive for MCA/Universal Records. He enjoyed music, sports and was an avid reader. He was involved in coaching his kid’s baseball teams. For the past several years, Jeff was passionate about studying the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. He was devoted to his faith in Jesus digging into the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith seeking wisdom, understanding and knowledge and the faith of Jesus. It was important to Jeff to go beyond talking the faith but more importantly walking the faith.Jeff is survived by his children Joshua (Alex), Austin and Zoe of Etobicoke, ON, former wife and mother of their children Lucy Andrade of Etobicoke, ON, mother Marlis of Etobicoke, ON brothers Brad (Lyn) of Whitby, ON, Mark (Niki) of Hillsborough NB, nieces Courtney, Hope, Ashley, Olivia, Jessica and McLaren and nephews Craig, Mark, Jonathan, Landon and Dane, cousins Donald, John and Sarah. His father Harold predeceased Jeff. Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion road, Etobicoke ON, is handling final arrangements. The family attended a private ceremony on Friday June 12, 2020. A memorial service is planned for later this summer for friends wishing to celebrate Jeff’s generous and fruitful life. Donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
