Sunrise, September 18, 1939Sunset, July 2, 2020 In Remembrance of Nigel Bowen aka “House” Our dad, Nigel Bowen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. He passed knowing that he had the love of his family in his heart and a renewed spirit in Jesus Christ. Beloved dad to Derrick, Altin (Melissa), Jacquie, Joan (Michael), Warren, Wayne (Andrea), Kemorie, Stacy, Paula and Margaret (Marcus). Proud grandfather of Natasha, Marcais (Vanessa), Nathaniel (Angela), Jonathan, Tenish, Aysha, Khalil, Melissa, Marcus, Demitri, Shantia, Malachi, Kenya, Makasi, Michael, Naomi, Rihanna, Derrica and Austin. Great-grandfather to Jaide, Janelle, Shemara and Jordan. Joyful brother to Gertrude, Neville, Delbert, Ena, Sonia and the late Clarise, Stanley and Delsie. Nigel will be remembered by his former wife/life-long friend, Lovina Bowen, his many nieces/nephews, relatives, his friends (“bredren”) in Jamaica down at “the corner”, the Greenwood community, the Shiloh church community, the Lilliput SDA church in Montego Bay, Jamaica, our friends/colleagues and everyone that was fortunate to meet him! Due to the restrictions imposed as a result of COVID19, a private family service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home. Followed by a private burial service at Duffin Meadows Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Please note that this service will be by invitation only and masks must be worn at all times to ensure the well-being and safety of everyone in attendance.
