Donald McLeanSPRINGFIELD — A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Nov. 4 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Donald C. McLean of Springfield, who died Oct. 22 of age-related causes. He was 87.He was born April 14, 1924, in Prineville to George and Della Cone McLean. He married Majorie Head on Aug. 9, 1944, in Prineville. She died Aug. 12, 1979. He married Monica Wilcox on July 14, 1981, in Springfield. She died June 10, 2006.He graduated from Crook County High School in 1943. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He worked at Walter Hoy Motors in Eugene, was the Northwest service representative for Chrysler Corp. for two years and returned to work at Barker Motors from 1961 to his retirement in the mid-1980s.Survivors include a daughter, Diann McLean of Cary, N.C.; a son, Steven of Springfield; four stepdaughters, Kyle King of Boise, Susan Goode of Salem, Lucia Reavis of Medford and Celia Walker of Eugene; a stepson, Justin Larson of Eugene; a sister, Edna McLean of Gresham; five grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Home Health or Sacred Heart Hospice.
