Obituary of Leslie Lawrynowicz

Leslie Lawrynowicz, age 78, passed away Tuesday June 23rd, 2020 in Toronto. She was the wife of John Lawrynowicz and Mother to Cory, Cary, Calin and Angel.Leslie and John shared almost 58 years of Marriage and were together for 63 years.Born in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, she was the daughter of Maxim and Parania (Pearl) Dmytruk, and Sister to Ernie and Zane. She worked for many years at General Electric, and then alongside John in his Insurance business while raising the family. After her sister-in-law Sonia passed away, she and John became parents to their young niece Angel who completed their home. Her house was always full of people and fun times. Leslie was a member of the Royal City Tennis Club in Guelph and enjoyed many tennis games and socializing with the members. Leslie and John traveled the world, although she enjoyed all the adventures, she especially loved France and Spain. She will be remembered for her genuine kindness, willingness to help and always being there for her family.She is survived by John, Cory, Cary (Laura), Calin (Nancy) and Angel (Bill). Grandchildren, Tatyana, Lexi, Lana, Quinlin, Javyer, Sajen, Zach and Sarah. Brothers, Ernie (Helen) and Zane (Janice) Niece & Nephew, Lisa (Jaime) , Peter (Mary) and Great Niece and Nephews ,Elyse & Josh, Jeremy The family has chosen to have a private viewing.Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation of Canada or The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto.
